Before arriving at Unanet, Akshay served as the Vice President of Product Management at EMS Software, where he created the organization’s product roadmap and helped lead a successful acquisition process.

As the real estate and construction industry group leader for the firm, I work with an experienced group of experts serving clients ranging from general contractors and subcontractors, heavy highway contractors, commercial real estate companies, REITs and real estate funds, affordable housing, and other related areas. My specialties include auditing, succession planning, strategic compensation, and ESOP advisory. I also assist clients in exploring innovation such as technology governance, data integration, and business intelligence. Many of my clients are large privately held general contractors and subcontractors, large heavy highway contractors, and engineering/design firms.

I have more than 10 years of experience in information technology and operations improvement for companies across a variety of industries with a heavy focus on construction, real estate, and manufacturing. I am a leader in supporting commercial clients with evaluation, selection, and implementation of prepackaged enterprise solutions. My passion is helping our clients rationalize and optimize existing applications while finding optimal strategies for integrating data in support of efficient transaction processing and information analysis.
